SOME OF MY PERSONAL HEROES

I remember some of these heroes of faith. You probably never heard of them, but they are the true heroes. They are the unsung heroes of every church, the volunteer workers who pour untold amounts of energy and time into doing the work of the Lord.

They represent the "church" -church

I
n Motivation - could never pay someone enough to do what volunteer leaders do for free, week after week, year after year.

In Commitment - their lives are testimony to faithfulness. When you want to understand faithfulness, think of someone who was your teacher and think of how they impacted your life.

They're Busy - they were all busy people with responsibilities outside the church. But somehow they managed to carve out time for the work of the Lord.

They were Models - their walk and their talk matched. If it didn't, their work in the church was soon forgotten.
