CHURCH WORKERS ARE HELPERS

I want to talk about some heroes of mine. They were truly HELPERS. I like to think of this acrostic. Move your mouse near each letter to see the characteristic of these leaders.medal

H
Their lives were not perfect, but they were committed to the Lord and it showed in their conduct. They were "set apart" for service by God.

E
In many small and large ways they encouraged those in their groups. They guided their students to become all that God intended for them.

L
They lived what they taught.

P
They made the effort to prepare, as best they could, to teach or lead their group.

E
They were not just pouring information into little brains. They were equipping God's little saints for service.

R
They were the same person on Sunday as Monday, Saturday, or any other day of the week. Their faith was genuine and real.

S
Their leadership grew out of a deep sense of God's leadership. They always desired to be obedient to Christ.
